My Megalodon Course

I left Philadelphia Airport VERY EARLY Monday morning to be in Ft Lauderdale by 10 and a flight to Marsh Harbor, Bahamas at 12:45. I was traveling to the Bahamas to meet Brian Kakuk of Bahamas Undergroundand purchase a Megalodon with a Hammerhead lid. For me it was the best of both worlds. I was getting a Meg and it did deco.

My IANTD Instructor Brian Kakuk is pretty well known in the tech/cave diving community. As I understand it he was an original member of the Wakulla Project, he worked many TV shows and Movies [including Into the Blue and The Cave]. One of his stories he told me: “I gave Jessica Alba her Nitrox class” talk about a claim to fame. Not a bad story to have in your repertoire. I am actually buying a “Movie Meg” from the movie The Cave, which Brian received as the Dive Safety Officer on the set. A great guy and very good instructor as I have seen so far.
